What is plant-based wax?
All candles in our range are good at creating a cozy atmosphere and we choose various materials so that we always end up with the best shape, function and quality. Plant-based wax is well-suited for tealights or other candles in holders. The plant-based wax is made from raw materials like rapeseed oil, soybean oil and shea oil – and is a natural result of our decision that all materials we use in our candles will be renewable or recycled at the latest by 2030.

The idea when I designed the ceramic scented candle holder for IKEA was that the timeless properties of the material would help make the simple item special. I hope people will think that the holder is so beautiful that they’ll want to keep it even after the candle burns out – and reuse it in new ways for a long time."
