Product details

A well-balanced hybrid mattress that combines pocket springs and several layers of foam to help you wake up feeling refreshed.

Five comfort zones right where you need them. By providing support to your hips and shoulders, you get a natural spine alignment that helps you sleep more relaxed.

Sink into soft plush foam on top – and the memory foam underneath helps to relieve pressure on your spine and joints.

Pocket springs respond independently without transferring motion to others and follow your movements to support your spine and joints.

Soft quilted stretch fabric follows your body movements and added wadding gives more comfort.

The cover is removable and can be machine washed. Divide the cover to make it easier to fit in the washing machine.

The complete mattress is covered by a 10-year warranty. You can read about the terms in the warranty brochure.

The mattress is rolled pack, so it’s easier for you to bring home.

Add a pillow that suits your sleeping position and a mattress protector to keep the mattress clean.

Good to know

To be completed with a slatted bed base or a slatted mattress base.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.

Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

Care instructions can be found inside the cover.

Not suitable for adjustable slatted bed bases, mattress bases or bed frames.

Ratings and reviews

Soft mattress.GunnarA soft mattress with good comfort and support. Does not keep in shape like ordinary mattresses. So the fitted sheet does hang loosely and disorderly around it.4
Very good MattressSundaramorthyAble to sleep well and no more body pain.5
Good only with a mattress topperDikosavaThis is a medium firmness mattress, so don't buy if you need firm. Positives: washable cover, which unzips into two halves to clean; good price as compared with similar products; rolled for easy transport; not too odorous on unpacking Negatives: comfortable only when coupled with a high-quality mattress topper; the cover is too loose creating weird ripples visible under the bedding4
Worst MattressShaziaAfter I purchased this mattress, I let it air out for 3 to 4 days while in the meantime, waiting for the bed i had purchased. I come back after a few days to check on the mattress, and I was very surprised to see that it had not expanded fully and the actual mattress cover was loose and the edges of the mattress were still way too soft. Unfortunately, I decided to give it a chance thinking it’s $800 so it might actually be good quality. Keep in mind I always buy my mattresses from IKEA and this is the first time I ever had an issue like this. After a couple months i noticed that it’s still the same and nothing really has changed so I brushed it off and thought OK I can test it out for a couple more months and fast-forward 11 months later I’m still disappointed in this mattress. It has gotten worse over time and honestly, I should’ve just returned it at the time I had issues with it. Nonetheless, it still has warranty and it hasn’t been a year so I’m going to return it.1
Replaced old mattressKathrynFirmness of this new mattress is a good choice for us. The store associate did an excellent job explaining the different types of mattresses available and encouraged us to try them out in the store.5
Anneland queen mattressMaenHonestly probably the worst mattress I have ever purchased. Not enough support causing hips to sink in causing back problems... 1 month in and im literally in the process of finding another mattreds1
Good productJosephineThis is the first time we use this product, we like it, firm enough for us and good support as well.4
ÅNNELAND Hybrid mattress, purchasedJenniferPurchased for our son. Good quality, comfortable and a great price. Packs easy to transport.5
Doesn’t expand fullyMishaI purchased 2 of these. We waited 72 hours, had no one sleep on them, and they are only 8 inches each (instead of the 9.5 inches as described) and have a baggy cover. Very disappointing. 2
Too Soft on the EdgesGuidoI bought the Anneland mattress from IKEA and while it feels comfortable in the center, the edges are far too soft. Sitting or lying near the sides gives no real support, which makes the mattress feel less durable and stable than expected.3
Love itSandraGreat firm mattress without a huge price tag. 5

Not medium firm, more like softMarcelIf you’re planing on buying this thinking is medium firm, this is more on the softer side. Actually most ikea mattresses and couches starts on the firmer side, then with use becomes softer. Keep that in mind. Otherwise it’s great, clean and environmentally safe as it doesn’t release any fumes, gases or smell.4
Sinking in the middle after only a few monthsMariI bought this FIRM mattress less than a year ago, I tried it in the store and it was comfortable. After the first six months, the middle section started sinking. The mattress it’s not that firm anymore only on the edges. I am very disappointed as when we are two adults in the bed, our weight is not effectively distributed we end up stuck in the middle of the mattress. Seeing the other comments, I will try to get the warranty honoured as this mattress is defective or at least not as advertised. My previous IKEA mattress lasted 10 years, I’m much disappointed. IKEA how do I get an exchange or a refund on this?1
Sinks after a monthJohnWe bought the medium firm one, it was comfy. But middle section is sinking after a month of usage.1
concreteSonjaWe love a firm mattress and after 12yrs on our previous Ikea mattress, didn't hesitate to purchase again through Ikea. This mattress however is almost comically firm! Initially we thought it was because it's a new mattress and we were used to our older, less supportive one (and we are 12yrs older too! lol), but that wasn't it. The mattress is like concrete! Utterly unforgiving and very uncomfortable. I wasn't sure about returning the mattress as we figured there would be some time needed to adjust to the change, but we ended up having a few rough nights of aches and pains before a 3inch memory foam topper arrived from Amazon! Without the topper absolutely do not recommend. With the topper, VERY supportive/firm, if that's what you are looking for. 2
Mattress JakobThe mattress is soft enough to sleep on and hard enough not to sink through.5
Not as firm as advertisedAnonymous reviewerWe bought this mattress thinking it would be firm but I am highly disappointed. It doesn't effectively distribute our weight and we roll to the center. We spent another $250 on a mattress topper, thinking it would do the trick, but it didn't help. Either the mattress is defective or the features as advertised are false. 1
Comfortable and affordable IvetaIt has been almost 10 years since we purchased a latex mattress from Ikea and so it was time to replace it. Not that we were unhappy with our old and trusted mattress - we could have probably waited another year - but IKEA mattress sale was on and so we decided to take advantage of it. The Anneland medium firm mattress with a memory foam topper also from IKEA absolutely exceeded our expectations- it is so comfortable that our sleep has improved drastically - we did not even realize how we may have been waking up a little too often on the old mattress. Of course we did a comparison shopping prior to buying and the IKEA mattress while not cheap came about 40% cheaper than a similar mattress from a competitor mattress store at a sale price and 25% cheaper at full price. Having previously bought a very expensive mattress myself, I know that even that mattress lasted 9 years before it had to be replaced. So there is no way I would pay more to buy anywhere else but IKEA. 5
ANNELAND is close but not quite the right fit!SharonThe ANNELAND mattress seemed to be the perfect firmness in the store so I ordered it for delivery. Unfortunately, the delivery was disappointing. The mattress is definitely better than the one in replaced but it has never fully expanded and is not as firm as I had hoped. I think it might have been better to purchase the Vagstranda mattress and add a foam topper.3
