Ratings and reviews
Firm but not supportiveJustineI liked this bed at first, but it eventually gets broken in and much less firm and offers little support throughout the night. I think what happens is that your body gradually sinks into the foam as you sleep, with the heavier parts sinking lower. In my case, this puts strain on my lower back and I’m often in pain when I wake up.
Comfortable mattress, but the cover zipper completely burst after 2 monthsVitalyI wanted to love this mattress because it is actually very comfortable to sleep on, but the quality of the cover is a major letdown.
The mattress comes with a removable cover that features a zipper running all the way around it. After just two months of normal use, we noticed that the zipper had completely burst open around the entire mattress. Because the track has split apart entirely, the zipper head is now jammed and almost impossible to move or realign to try and close it back up.
It is incredibly frustrating to have a great mattress ruined by a cheap, defective zipper mechanism on the cover. Unless IKEA improves the durability of this hardware, I cannot recommend it.
How many coils?CarlI wish IKEA would list the number of coils for each queen mattress
Mattress AnnelandMuoiIt is nice and I sleep better.
Hybrid mattressGaryHarder than we expected…probably due to hundreds of people who have tried it out in store. Liking it though.
Poor qualitySandeepFirst thing its size is little smaller than king size bed. After 3 months use it , it become extra firm. Gives backache every day when I woke up. I don’t recommend
Just fine not worth full priceElizaI bought it on sale as Ikeas most expensive mattress and wish I had spent a couple hundred more on a mattress from any other box mattress company. It's very flat with minimal support. The zip-off mattress cover is completely ill fitting and way too bulky.
Too firm, zero pressure relief, but the best customer service everMariaMy partner and I got this mattress because he prefers sleeping on his back and wanted a firm mattress. I gave it a try but I ended up having back and hip pain due to very minimal pressure relief on joints. I experimented with getting a topper but nothing made it comfortable for me. I then realized they have an amazing policy where you can exchange mattress within 90 days. We brought it back on literally the 90th day and it was such an easy process. Hardest part was physically getting the mattress back but once we were there the staff were super helpful and efficient. We got a softer Vagstranda mattress and I am 100% satisfied.
Anneland MattressStephenVery comfortable mattress, both my wife and I are pleased with the purchase.
LoveDomenicaGreat mattress. Good level of support without being too hard. Easy transition to this new mattress without disrupting sleep or causing back pain. I also like the that I don’t feel my partner rolling around too much.
Sooo good ! Worth the cost !ChengI’m very surprised IKEA sells nice mattress too. Highly recommended pair very nicely with queen size bed TONSTAD!
Comfortable but not durableManishaMattrrss is extremely comfortable...however, it sinks. I purchased in November 2025, we are now in March 2026 and there is a hole in my mattress where i sleep. Very disturbing for a mattress i spent $800.00 on.
Mattress not expanded as claimedDanielWe checked this product's reviews and noticed there were many complaints about the mattress not expand to 9.5 inches as the product claimed. We took a chance to purchase the medium firm ANNELAND King and we got a 7.5 mattress after 3 days. We are very disappointed that IKEA hasn't done anything to correct the issue. There is no IKEA at where we live so we paid $149 to have the mattress ship to us. The mattress is also difficult to repack to return. DOUBLE disappointments!
"Good To Know" Missing Important Buying InformationAnonymous reviewerIkea it would be nice if you put in the GOOD TO KNOW section that this mattress requires a mattress topper (purchased separately) if you want to avoid all that excess fabric on top that everyone is complaining about it in review section and to get the 9" height this product suspose to be. After the 72 hrs there is still a approx. 1 3/4" gap after expanding and theres no way that mattress will bounce back to fill that remaining gap. You need a topper to fill this gap. There is a tiny little picture with no words on assembly instructions showing the need for this but I imagine not all customers will be able to interpret they need to buy a topper from that little illustration. Thankfully I had already purchased a topper for extra comfort and was able to figuer it out eventually after foam not expanding fully. Just my feedback.
Super comfortable mattressLorinaIt’s been 10 months since I purchased this mattress and am absolutely satisfied with this mattress. I first got the medium-firm version as that felt better while in store but after sleeping in it for a week I realized that was not for me. Thanks to IKEA’s very thoughtful return policy, I was able to exchange that for the firm version and BINGO! The mattress is as comfortable as it was the first day. It has held its shape beautifully. This mattress replaced a very expensive high end one and honestly so far I can’t tell the difference (and I’m a very picky person when it comes to sleep) Awesome quality for the price paid and great sleep!
Comfortable for a few months, but cheaply made, flimsy, and doesn't last.MarkI had an ABROTTEN mattress previously that only lasted a couple months before it started to sag. It was far too thin, so when I returned it, I opted to upgrade and bought one of these ANNELAND mattresses to replace it, thinking "it's a hybrid, thicker, and worth more, so it should be of higher quality, more comfortable, and last longer." Oh, how wrong I was! I'm 5'11" and only weigh ~165lbs. This mattress is so flimsy and cheap that in less than 6 months, it has developed a sag/depression in the two places where my torso rests (from rotating the mattress every other week). The sides are weak - when you sit on the edge of the bed, it fully collapses beneath you. I gave it a full 4 days after unpacking it to expand while continuing to use my old mattress (which, thankfully, I still have in storage). Even after 4 days, it still hadn't expanded to the claimed 9.5" height, only measuring a smidge over 8" with the casing all loose & baggy. I'll NEVER buy a mattress from IKEA again. Garbage!
Flimsy and cheaply madeSusanVery disappointed in this mattress. Could not tough out the month IKEA suggested to break it in and get used to it. Mattress instructions said it will take 3-4 days to fully expand to its 9-1/2”height. I guess when a coil mattress is rolled the coils never reach their full height potential. Sides were flimsy and had no structure and foam surround around coils felt cheap and had no give . This mattress was purchased to replace another IKEA mattress that had collapsed sides and we instantly regretted purchasing it. We ended up returning this mattress and we have learned our lesson to NEVER buy a mattress at IKEA.
My back hurts on this mattressKevinI don't think this will be fearm enough for me
