What kind of payment methods are accepted at IKEA?
For your convenience, IKEA offers several options to pay for your items.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash*
- IKEA gift cards / e-gift cards with PIN – limit of 4 gift cards per order online
(if no PIN, can only used in store) - VISA credit and debit cards
- Mastercard credit and debit cards
- American Express
- Payplan by RBC
- Google Pay
- Apple Pay
- PayPal (online only)
- Afterpay (online only)
If you'd like to use a Prepaid VISA or Mastercard, you may need to register the card. IKEA requires all credit cards to be associated with a Canadian billing address. Instructions on how to do this can normally be found on the back of your card.

Purchasing online or via payment link you can use up to four gift cards with only ONE additional payment (credit card, financing, PayPal, etc.)
