I used it in my home office/library and it looks wonderful. Feels great underfoot with different textures, but it isn't so deep it's hard to clean or too heavy to move around. Flat right out of the packaging, didn't have to wait for it to uncurl. Easy to clean so far though of course with shedding some little fibres (makes sense due to how it's made). Strongly recommend!5
Unhappy with this rugYvonneAlthough I love the look of the rug and it goes great in my setting, a powdery substance keeps coming off the rug. We have had this rug for about a year and 1/2 now. We contacted Ikea, but they would not let us return the rug. It was after the return policy time, but we were trying to work with it to see if it would eventually stop. It continues to be a problem, and we do not like the fact that we are inhaling this. We are unfortunately pulling it up and will no longer use it.
I was surprised that Ikea would not work with us to rectify the problem.2

Beautiful and plush, but prone to pillingCeresI've had this rug for a few weeks now and it is a beautiful rug, very plush. The animal smell reported in other reviews does fade away.
However, I've been disappointed to find that it is very prone to pilling. I think it will be looking rather old in a few more months. We have been careful not to use rotating brushes when vacuuming, and always stepping on it barefooted. But the pilling happens anyways.
Also, beware that due to the fact that this is made of a rather coarse wool thread it holds on to dirt, fur, etc. If you have pets, maybe reconsider.3

So cozy Ellie I was worried about the comments about the smell, so I almost didn’t get it because of that. But, decided to get it anyway, and I am so happy I took the chance. To me …. It has a verryyyy light wool smell to it. I need to get very close to the rug with my nose to actually smell it. I was not sure if it’s just me, so I had a family member check as well. Same thing.
The rug is thick and it looks like something from a village (which I love) haha. I find it very cozy and worm and soft to the touch.
I love it so much and have no negative comments at all about it.
I would recommend this rug. 5

Follow up reviewMeaganNow that I've had this rug for a month I have to say I'm really disappointed in it. The low pile parts are great, but the more plush parts are big loops that get caught on everything and pull, so the rug looks about ten years old already.1
Living Room RugEffieI love this rug, it is perfect for my space. Texture, quality and colour choice being neutral was exactly what I wanted. I had a shag before but was horrible to clean.
