How does delivery work in the room of your choice?
Delivery to the room of your choice allows you to receive your items directly inside your home, on the ground floor or upstairs. Prices start at €110, calculated according to the total weight of the order, with an estimated delay of 1 to 5 days and a time slot of 6 hours. The driver places the items in the chosen room, after checking that there is access and that an adult is present. A practical and comprehensive service, available in Belgium online and in-store.
- Place the order.
Add your items to the cart and select "Delivery to the room of your choice" at checkout. If the option does not appear, it may be related to local restrictions (unserved area, product type, etc.). Online orders are only possible for delivery to the ground floor; For upstairs delivery, contact customer service at +32 2 27 19 19 19. Provide a complete address and precise instructions (access codes, parking constraints, floor), choose your 6-hour time slot, check your contact information and confirm. Before validating, make sure that packages can pass through doors, stairs, or elevators. Availability: For Belgium this service is available for ordering in-store and on IKEA.be; for Luxembourg this type of delivery can only be ordered in-store. - Modify, track, or cancel the order.
To avoid additional charges, make any changes as soon as possible. Item changes are possible before the Assigned status; Date or location changes before the Prepared status. Use Order Management Tool to check the progress. To cancel, if you are not able to cancel via our online tool, please contact IKEA Customer Service. - Confirmation and preparation.
After ordering, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail and/or SMS with the time slot and contact information. Make sure you are available during your chosen time slot. - On the day of delivery.
Prepare access and parking: plan at least 15 m in front of the home (or 25 m if an outdoor elevator is used) and, if necessary, a parking ban. Check that doors, corridors, stairs and lifts allow the passage of parcels (the dimensions are shown in Packaging Details on each product page). The driver calls you 30 to 60 minutes before arrival; If there is no response, an attempt will make a delivery attempt. An adult must be present to supervise and sign. In case of absence and impossibility of contact, the delivery is considered to be failed and must be rescheduled (with fees). - Order indicated "delivered" or date exceeded : contact the +32 2 719 19 19.
- Incomplete delivery : Check if there is a delivery in progress. If everything is marked "Delivered" and an item is missing, contact Customer Service.
- Damaged item : Use the tracker and select "Report damage".
