Why should I choose parcel delivery?

Parcel delivery is ideal for small orders of light and space-saving items, with a maximum weight of 30 kg. It offers the flexibility to receive your products at home or at a Bpost point, with fast and predictable turnaround times. Even if you are away, your parcel is taken care of and redirected if necessary. You can track your order easily via the IKEA portal or Bpost tracking, and return your items simply by registering the return online and dropping off the package at a Bpost point or in-store.

  1. A simple and practical solution for small orders.
    Parcel delivery is a delivery method intended exclusively for orders consisting of small items that meet strict criteria of weight, dimensions and logistical eligibility. It is only offered when all the items in an order can be shipped as standard packages and is managed by the carrier Bpost. This delivery method is particularly recommended for accessories, decorative items and small orders that do not require large delivery. Each package may not exceed a maximum weight of 30 kg. If one or more items in the order exceed this limit or require specific transport, parcel delivery is not offered at checkout. The available delivery options are displayed automatically and cannot be added manually.
  2. The flexibility to receive your parcel at home or at a Bpost point.
    Parcel delivery is suitable for residential addresses located in the areas covered by Bpost. It allows you to choose, depending on the eligibility of the order, between home delivery or delivery to a collection point. Home delivery is available from €6.99 and does not require a signature. Delivery to a pick-up point is available from €5.99 and is carried out via a network of around 2,800 pick-up points and partner parcel lockers.
  3. Fast and predictable delivery times.
    Estimated delivery times for parcel delivery vary between 3 and 10 business days, depending on the order and the option chosen. For home delivery, the average delivery time is about 3 working days. For delivery to a pick-up point, the order is generally available within 4 to 5 days after purchase, excluding Sundays.
  4. Because your package is taken care of even if you are not at home.
    IKEA works in partnership with Bpost for parcel deliveries. Deliveries therefore follow Bpost's conditions. No signature is required. Bpost applies the delivery preferences defined by the customer in the Bpost app as a priority. If no preference has been saved, the package is automatically redirected to a nearby pick-up point.   5. Clear and accessible tracking of your order and delivery.
    At any time, the customer can check the status of their order via our Online Order Tracking Portal , as well as via carrier tracking Bpost, or on Bpost website or via the Bpost app.
  6. The ability to easily return your items.
    Register your return online, use the label you will receive by e-mail and drop off your parcel at a Bpost point or in store within 14 days. Return via an IKEA locker is not possible.
