This soft and cosy sofa will have a long life as the seat cushions are filled with high resilience foam that gives good support for your body and quickly regains its original shape when you get up.
The chaise longue has storage under the seat. The lid automatically stops in the open position so that you can easily pick out and put back the things that you are storing.
You can place the chaise longue section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.
You can complete with VIMLE headrest to extend the backrest of the sofa, so that you sit even more comfortably with a nice support for your neck.
The cover in cotton and polyester fabric is dyed in different tones, which gives it a nice effect. The strong and hardwearing woven quality gives the fabric a clear texture.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

Not happy with the fit of the cushions and coversSamratThe cushions and the covers doesn't fit and sit neatly. The way the back cushions sits are very odd and doesn't match. The fabric of the seats stays wrinkled. I am not happy at all the way the cushions and covers fit and stays on the sofa.

I purchased the IKEA VIMLE sofa, and from the moment I opened the packaging, I was hit with an overwhelming, unpleasant chemical smell. I initially assumed it would fade with time, but it only got worse and began affecting how I felt at home. I contacted IKEA and went through the entire process of exchanging the sofa which involved disassembling, repacking, and waiting again only to find that the replacement also had the same strong odour, especially from the foam cushions.
Even after weeks, the smell persists and makes it impossible to enjoy the sofa.Every time I sit on it, I’m overwhelmed by the scent. It even gives me headaches and a feeling of heaviness in the air. For a brand like IKEA, I expected better quality but looks like IKEA quality has gone downhill.
Color difference on chaise lounge vs. the paired 2-seat sofaMichaelPurchased the item. Quality of the sofa itself is good but there is a difference in shade of the chaise lounge and the 2-seat sofa that comes with the product. The cover for chaise lounge is a darker shade than that of the 2-seat sofa. Tried contacting Ikea on this and they sent a new cover for the chaise lounge but it’s still the same shade that didn’t match the 2-seat sofa cover. Got stressed for days on this issue. We just decided to move on with using the chaise longue and sofa with different shades.

Not a good purchase, Disappointing KameshI got a three seater plus chaise.. The cushion is not good and it lost its shape.. very minimal usage though.. the chaise part has sunk in and feeling so uncomfortable now. The color also fades so quickly. I got a head rest which is not suiting the chaise though it was shown in the picture.

Scotchguarded it (3 layers), but as soon as something lands on it, stained!! Even with the best products I cannot get stains out. Also quite uncomfortable. I totally regret my purchase. DO NOT BUY.

Couch is comfortable and gets compliments for the comfort, size and storage. Great size, perfect for two people!
After reading other reviews, I didn't have any issues with the items delivered. Instructions say to leaving the 3 back pillows for 24+hours to expand (so maybe this is where people went wrong).
Wish there were more options of couch covers (e.g. forest green or olive) so I could switch it up.
