Now it's really easy for anyone to use smart lighting. This bulb allows you to choose between 3 colours and change from warm to cold light – and dim so you can adapt the light to different activities.

By dimming the lighting, you change the mood in the room.

With a remote control, you can simultaneously control up to 10 LED bulbs or LED light panels – dim, turn off, turn on, choose colours and gradually switch from warm to cold light. Sold separately.

With a smart LED bulb you can dim and switch the colour of your lighting, and adapt your lighting to different activities, for example a warmer light for dinner and a brighter, colder light for working.

The LED light source consumes up to 85% less energy and lasts 20 times longer than incandescent bulbs.

Make the most of your smart lighting by connecting it to DIRIGERA, hub for smart products. Let it enhance life at home by creating the right mood and atmosphere when needed by using timers and scenes in the IKEA home smart app.

Smart products connected to DIRIGERA hub are compatible with all smart home platforms that use the Matter standard.

Use an opal light bulb if you have an ordinary lamp shade or lamp and want an even, diffused distribution of light.

The light from this LED bulb feels as strong as the light from a traditional 75W incandescent bulb.

This product allows wireless dimming. With IKEA Smart lighting, you can dim your lights without a wired-in installation.

Energy efficient and high quality light across the white spectrumSilasThis is a good quality Zigbee white-spectrum bulb, which reproduces decent warm light and good quality cooler tones. The colours across a sample of bulbs purchased show consistency of colour reproduction across the range, meaning this is a suitable light for fixtures with more than one luminarie. It would be nice if IKEA offered a wider range of Tradfri globes with a B22 fitting, e.g. a dimmable only globe, plus options for 'chandelier' and stick fittings. At just $16.50, it's excellent value compared to other brands, but of course not as cheap as some available through various places online. The bulbs are very enegy efficient, already showing a saving in lighting costs over our previous generation LED lights - even with the extra power of 'standby' which is an unfortunate byproduct of the nature of smart lighting globes.5

It works but no colourJoelPersonally I can’t give it a lower rating because it works and it works well, the only reason I can not give this a higher rating is because IKEA has not brought this product out with the option of colour changing for this fitting style, if this was the situation I would be buying about 20 in a heartbeat2

Works well - good colour and light outputBarryPairs nicely with my zigbee adapter. We use zigbee2mqtt, works beautifully with home assistant. Be sure to know how to get it in pairing mode - seven quick on/offs with final on being the seventh.5

Excellent bayonet smart bulbs

All the ceiling light fittings in my unit are bayonet so I was glad to find smart bulbs to fit. They are excellent bulbs - you can change between cold and warm white and dim. Best of all - I can do it all via voice.
