Beautiful and simpleDominieBeautiful and simple. Thicker than expected but easy enough to vacuum. Colour is rich and not cheap looking.5
Doesnt like it.AbhishekNot a good rug.1
STROG Mats are Naturally the bestMsMy purchase of Strog Floor Rugs and Mats was based on a number of reasons, being 1. Health - better air quality compared to dusty carpet 2. Having dogs inside the home , the Strog mats are built hardy and robust whereas carpet can be pulled by dogs nails. 3. Aesthetically Strog Mats are attractive to the eye, cool in summer, warm in winter and easy to care for.5
Great rugCraigNo fuss jute rug ideal for high traffic areas in the house. Comes as described and is made to last. 5
Sheds alot of fibreChristineGood sized rug for the area, but wasn't prepared for the amount of fibres that sheds from the rug. I would not recommend if you have babies crawling over it 3
Strog rugJohnGood value for money works well with other furniture I purchased wish I had have got a bigger size5
Lovely reliable StrõgKateFabulous. The color is not too dark and not too light, just right. Texture is lovely and soft underfoot, and for floor dwelling. A few strands have popped up but it looks natural; at some stage I will carefully poke them back and not snip. The rug has stretched out a little with use, evenly, and as expected. A little sprinkle of bicarb freshened up the jute nicely after a cold damp spell. I would love to have more of these rugs! Robust yet so enjoyable.5
Very happy with it, greatMoniqueVery happy with it, great value for the size of the rug. Definitely needs an under-mat as it’s very slippery on vinyl plank or tile floors.5

Material

What is jute?

Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertiliser, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
