Different to what I expected but am now happy with itVickiI was purchasing this to replace one that was about 15 years old. Was not expecting them to be so much larger which meant I had to rearrange things to fit. Smelt absolutely awful straight out of the packet. I was honestly thinking of chucking it but then looked online and saw the IKEA advice that it's normal and does pass. Put it out on a sheltered balcony for a few days and the smell did go away. Phew. It's an excellent storage unit, very sturdy and well made and holds a huge amount of things.
Clearly superior , will prefer IKEA in futureTimothyEach shelf has a light weight panel giving it some stiffness, the depth let's you make good use of space.
