SKOTTOP doesn't fit an AU light fittingMurrayThe SKOTTOP lamp shade is fine. However, the fitting to attach to the lamp is too big, and doesn't fit a standard bayonet glob fitting
LampshadeSharonWe were looking for a lampshade, something neutral colour in this size. This worked perfectly. Werent sure until we got it home and matched it. Was good colour to blend in with the base. I didnt realise Ikea sold lampshades. Would buy again.

Large size shade missing reducer fitting.Anonymous reviewerI purchased 2 medium and 2 large of this product - the medium shades included a reducer fitting so the ring that sits on the lamp base can be made smaller to fit a wider range of lamp bases - the largest shade of this design does not include one of those reducer fittings meaning the shade won't fit most Australian lamps - seems like an epic design fail for an other wise great product.

Lovely lampshade and colour MichaelaI love the Skortorp lampshade and the colour. I bought to go with the Astrid base and remove the Astrid lampshade. however the fitting doesn’t work with the base. So, just check you base and lampshe combo before buying.

Perfect neutral grey. Skillfull design from concept to customerSallyI couldn't be happier with this shade and the two matching smaller ones I bought for my Lucite bedside lamps. It works well with my 60+ y.o. carved vintage lamp stand from India and is the perfect neutral grey to work in any scheme. I was a little shocked to find it came flat packed but soon realised how easy it was to put together and was deeply impressed by the whole concept and design process. Even the box is slightly wedged to accommodate the flat pack shade. The skeleton of the shade will've had to be specifically designed to work as a flat pack product. Incredible value for money and quality. The scale of this lamp really worked for me and overall I'm 5/5 ecstatic with this product, it's cost, ease of assembly and performance. This is an example of IKEA at it's best. Thank you.

Surprised how good it looksPaulNever bought a lampshade in a flat box before, so was doubtful of how it would look. But very surprised it looked really good, and have since bought another. Very good value and quality.
End result is that thisSallyEnd result is that this looks fabulous and value for money is pretty good but a flat packed lamp shade has proved to be the hardest thing to assemble that I have ever bought from IKEA! I bought 2 but still haven’t found the time to assemble the other one.
