Fabulous classic and great valueOksanaSo easy to put together (one bolt!) and great quality. Honestly, very easy on the posterior when you put one cushion ($5 IKEA one does well) and it looks great on the balcony. The wire design looks minimal and doesn't take up too much visual space. I have it outdoors under cover and absolutely loving it!5

This chair is super stylish with a funky throw pillow tossed on. It works in any space and adds a cold retro vibe. Surprisingly pretty comfortable too. Love this chair. Buy it!!

In the early 1980s, our founder Ingvar Kamprad asked the Danish industrial designer Niels Gammelgaard to create the world's most inexpensive armchair that could be manufactured industrially, without filling or fabric. Niels had already designed another chair in metal with holes, so Ingvar suggested making the holes bigger to remove a third of the material. It worked. JÄRPEN armchair was born – a timeless classic given the name SKÅLBODA in the Nytillverkad collection.
