This lamp has 3 different levels of light intensity that you can easily adjust as needed.
A built-in variable touch dimmer means that you can turn off, turn on, and dim the lamp with only a light touch of your finger.
A good no-glare light.
Charges by connecting to a USB port for example via a powerbank or computer, or by using IKEA LADDA 2450mAh rechargeable batteries. Batteries are sold separately.

Drains batteries while offTamasBought two, with Ikea rechargeable batteries and charger. Both lights seem to drain the batteries while they’re off.
WHAT....THE.....ACTUALMatthewI'm SERIOUSLY concerned about the person who designed this. For a start, throw the instructions away. Pathetic. Then you're confronted with the problem of having to BUY RECHARGEABLE batteries, coz the ridiculous design WILL NOT ALLOW IT TO BE REMOVED ONCE STUCK UNDER THE SHELF OR ONTO THE WALL. IT HAS STOPS THAT DO NOT ALLOW IT TO SLIDE OUT!! WHY??? WHY EVEN HAVE IT SLIDE IN THE FIRST PLACE? So either when you buy it, get the appropriate batteries or a long ugly cord to run into a usb or power bank. I cant use rechargeable batts, because of where it needs to go in my particular home. If I do, Im then stuck with hanging a power bank off it to charge them. Dumb product.
Don’t waste your moneyLauraI have never posted a review before but this has clearly irritated me! It basically needs to be plugged in at all times - it will only light up for two hours at a time, defeating the purpose.
One of the two I purchased never worked, even with the recommended ikea batteries.
Cannot get the “working” one off the wall to recharge it, although it states it should just click off. I want to take it off the wall to throw it away and I can’t even do that 😅

Underrated LightAlexThis is a very underatted light. Has 3 dimming modes and I love the warmt glow that if offers. However, for people wanting a bright white light look, this is not for you. I also like the capability if it using a rechargeable battery and could charge it using a usb charger. It's versatile and functional ligth. Worth the price.
They don’t workAnonymous reviewerIncredibly disappointed with IKEA. I bought two of these. Brand new batteries. Both worked once, then starting flickering within 24 hrs and then stopped working all together. Literally the worst thing I’ve ever bought. They have dropped my perception of IKEA down to $2 dollar shop product. Not likely to return there for anything after this.

Physically Press ButtonSomaliExtremely frustrated, had to physically press the button on/off every time I want the light on or off. It’s hard to reach high places to press the button.

Battery Draining LEDEmmanuelBattery being drained very quickly even without use. You would have thought the battery would hold charge if it is not in use. But after a full charge, without any usage, simply "on" on the switch will drain the battery empty in a few weeks time. Bought 4 of this, tried both IKEA battery, Eneloop & Eneloop Pro, same result! Worse than a LED stripe from Temu.
Overpriced cheap and nasty light AshleyOverpriced cheap and nasty light came with no batteries and only worked now and then, didn’t work at all on high settings. Bought 3 immediately returned for a store credit. I’m quite happy with a store credit cause I will be able to use it on something that works properly

Rolfstrop lightJohnBought one that didn’t work. Brought it back and exchanged for another one. That lasted one week and does t work unless it’s plugged in. Using IKEA rechargeable batteries so that should not be the problem. Very disappointed.

Great concept but really disappointingAnonymous reviewerI purchased 3 of these lights and Im having nothing but issues with all of them. I purchased rechargeable batteries from Ikea to put in them. Batteries are fully charged but the lights keep turning off. I have to take the lights down from the mounts and turn on and off again. Sometimes it helps but most of the time it doesn't. Ive tried plugging them in while mounted but that doesn't make any difference. Really hard to turn back on and stay on. Lights are plugged in, batteries fully charged and still turn on for a short time and then turn off and cant turn them back on.. I wouldn't recommend them.

Great concept but seemingly untested.AlvaroThese lights seem like a great idea; battery powered, rechargeable, USB connection, removable, sturdy... everything seems great, until you actually use them on a day to day basis.
I don't know if the electronics in these were ever fully tested but both units I purchased and installed both had trouble staying on for any appreciable amount of time.
They had fresh new batteries but would turn off within 30 secs and the only way to get them to turn back on was to remove them from the mount, turn the switch off and back on, which was obviously untenable.
I gave them a full two weeks, replacing batteries, fully recharging to make sure, trying everything I could think of but I've remove them, packed them up, and am returning them ASAP.
It's great concept that's let down by untested electronics.
Make sure 'on' button is on, then it's portableSuAt first the light would not work without the USB cord but I figured out that you need switch it to 'on'. (The 3m tab hides the switch) The instructions were pictures only, it works now and charge only via USB when needed. I used it for kitchen stovetop lighting
