Poang Chair ReviewAlistairWe bought this chair to replace a modern chair that was too low and uncomfortable. We tried all the suitable chairs in IKEA and this one was the most comfortable, easy to get in and out of and light enough to move around when needed.
It takes up less space than other chairs we looked at and is so comfortable that we can fall asleep in it! Highly recommended and very glad we chose this chair.

Quality control failureJohnThe socket and bolt hole for two adjoining pieces were a full one centimeter out, and could not be connected as per the design. As I have a power drill and long screws, I used other means of assembling the chair. I didn't make the journey to return it for a replacement, as I expect they are all made consistently with the same fault.
For customers who rely on being able to assemble the product according to its design - BEWARE, it will not fit together!

Comfy chair, not great rocking chairLauraI tested this chair in store and it seemed to be just like I wanted.
Putting it together was okay, although the food felt unfinished and I ended up woth more than one splinter!
Once together it was a big creaky sitting it in, it doesn't feel as study as the one in store but all the pieces are tight.
It doesn't rock as well as in store either. Could be because it's on carpet, but it's a lot of effort for the rocking motion and takes away from what was meant to be a relaxing chair.
It is a comfy chair and looks great but I will look at replacing it when I can.
