Design FlawBarbThere is a design flaw here. The head of the lamp where the bulb goes is longer than the size of the globe which means you have to insert it relatively deep into the head with your hand and unless you have the hands of a child, I could not do it and had to ask someone who has small hands.

Design flaw at the baseJackI like the rest of design and style etc., but the base is a FAILURE of design: you cannot firmly kept the lamp pole and base together, because the way they fit is some sort of certain angle twist snap on, instead of screw. Therefore over time due to lamp movement (even sligtly), it becomes loose that is hard to notice. I once lifted it and wanted to move to another room, the heavy base just DROPPED from air, made a damage on my floor. I should be grateful it didn't hit my tows!

Too simplifiedSooButton to turn off the lamp is where lamp is which is awkward and you have to stand up just for that. Also every time when you do that it changes the position of the lamp which I don’t like when I had it perfectly for a reading?
Also the bottom plate comes off super easily which can drop on your foot while you are moving the lamp
