Lovely spot lightMattThis is exactly what I wanted for our rumpus room. It adds a nice vibe to the room with warm soft lighting. Highly recommended if you need a spot light.

Started flickering after a few monthsDiegoStarted off well although it keeps on dropping down because the desk clamp does not hold the stem well. More annoyingly though it started flickering after a few months. No spares available, won't buy again.2
Does not work mounted on the wallAnetteThe design of the wall mount plate is disappointing for Ikea. Whenever I try to move the "head" of the lamp, the whole lamp tips to the side moving the mount plate too. I am frustrated because I now have holes in my wall and a lamp that I cannot use.1
Great little light, with some QA to sort outAlistairOverall, I've found this light really nice. Simple, effective clamp/adjustment mechanism. The bendy neck is great for directing the light for reading (I had it clamped to my bed frame upper). Useful output and LED tint. However, after ~3 years it developed a noticeable flicker. It appeared as if the LED was failing, or there was a connection issue (I'd expect a greater lifespan from the LED emitter itself). A lifespan of 3 years is mediocre, and below IKEA standards. If they improve the quality (raise the price if need be) then I'd recommend this without hesitation- such a useful light.3
Doesn't last as long as advertised...HaipingI bought 2 of these lamps. After 3 years or so usage, one of them started to random flash and dimming while the other is working perfectly fine.. I tried to swap their transformers but doesn't work, the issue is inside either the LED unit or the circuit..2

Flexible & suits the needZarithBought 2 of these so we can use them as reading lights clamped to each sides of our bed header (King-sized Malm). Love the flex of the lights' wand either moving toward or away from us.5

Works brilliantly!ConanIn these colder winter days, some of us (teachers) start work while it is still a bit dark. This light clipped to my desk and lets me get in a few extra minutes of marking and prep without having to use the full class lights. It just helps keep the important things in focus.5
