A good desk but ...JianIt fits my size, drawer, and color requirements. To improve: make the assemly easier by marking each part with a number or symbol (this also applies to many Ikea products). Since it has 2 packages with a number of parts, it is sometimes difficult to find the parts according to the assembly instructioins.4

Instructions as clear as mud!KathleenWe are used to flat pack furniture but putting this small desk tested our marriage!!! It was not easy! The problem stems from whether you need the drawers on the right hand or left. For the right hand you need to go to the end of the (so called) manual. None of the pieces are marked so it's trying to follow the pictures...... I have to say it's my first and last time with ikea furniture!
However when we eventually sorted it, it looks good. 3

Micke desk is awesomeVickiI love my new Micke desk and hutch. The only hiccup I found was that the hutch needs to be a bit more secured to the desk as the attachment at the moment is not very secure. I have also added a set of the Helmar drawers into the space that holds the small drawer and the space under it as it is open at the back to allow for a tower computer.
I don’t have this type of computer so everything would have ended up dusty so the set of metal drawers in yellow fit in the space and look great while also storing all the bits and pieces needed for working at a desk.
For someone who does not have a tower this space either needs a back panel to prevent the dust or an alternate option like the Helmar Drawers.
There is also there is an issue in the packaging as the top of the desk does not have enough packing protecting it from the other pieces of the desk when unpacking the desk to assemble.5
Lovely Desk and Flatpack but instructions could have been clearer.StefanyThis is a lovely flatpack desk but I think the instructions could have been clearer. I think each panel needs to be labelled as it takes time (for people who are not carpenters) to work out which piece goes with each. I am a female and managed to do this all msyelf with no help but it took a while. Anyway, happy with the result and heppy I was able to work it out.

Great value and productZaronGot this for $109 with the sign up credit, absolute steal in this day and age. The desk is actually suprisingly high quality feeling, very solid. The veneer might not be the best, who knows (not me, yet) but I'm using a large mouse/desk pad thing so doubt it'll worry me regardless!
My only slight fault would be that it's not quite high enough for me to use with a computer and have the large draw installed, but, I had already anticipated that'd be the case.5
