The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

Design error with the folding frameEliωabethDelivered and installed Jan 2023. Used twice but the opening and closing of the frame does not work as in video. Need to tip unit on its side and carefully manually adjust the fold out legs in and out below the slats otherwise the frame jambs. The folding legs slip between slats (instead of gliding below the slats) thus preventing the folding mechanism to work in either direction. A two, fit men job! Otherwise a comfortable unit on which to sit or sleep. Recommend? Not unless you have on hand two fit people to pull out or fold in.2
