Very comfortable!SarahI bought this sofa bed as a spare for my father's house. Having recently spent a week sleeping on it, I was quite surprised - it really is very comfortable! It's very firm because the mattress is thin, but even so, it's good to sleep on.
Once I got it right....ChristinaI found this sofa bed tricky to build. I was not able to get help so was doing it on my own. Without YouTube I doubt it would have been made up at all but even so getting the legs with wheels right took 3 goes - and that was after I called in someone to help. Because of the problem, the first time it was slept on, it folded in the middle. I have made many IKEA pieces on my own and this was definitely the hardest. I think that all the leg pieces need differentiation through labelling or colour coding, and the booklet needs clarifying.
However, once made up, I was told it was very comfortable so my efforts were worthwhile.

VersatileSandraI found this piece a bit too bulky as I have it in my lounge room as a second lounge, but it has been so invaluable when friends stay over. So easy to pull out and pack away. Very comfy mattress. The calico cover probably wasn’t the best choice of colour but being calico it can be dyed. One of my best purchases. Was disappointed when a few weeks after buying, the price was dropped dramatically.

Design error with the folding frameEliωabethDelivered and installed Jan 2023. Used twice but the opening and closing of the frame does not work as in video. Need to tip unit on its side and carefully manually adjust the fold out legs in and out below the slats otherwise the frame jambs. The folding legs slip between slats (instead of gliding below the slats) thus preventing the folding mechanism to work in either direction.
A two, fit men job! Otherwise a comfortable unit on which to sit or sleep.
Recommend? Not unless you have on hand two fit people to pull out or fold in.
Hard to assembleAzadehIt is not easy to assemble. Not easy to move it around supper heavy and not in right shape to relocate .
