Unfortunately PoorIanI've bought a number of rugs from Ikea before, and the 4 Lohals currently in the house are larger ones, and brilliant in quality and durability. Unfortunately the hallway runner is different, and Im sad to say not good quality, and poor standard that I expected from Ikea. The ends of the rug won't turn down (no matter what method I use), the rug arrived with 'many' frayed edges and surfaces, making this unsightly and a trip hazard in a very heavy trafficed area. I have tried to trim and fix the rug to be more presentable.
I wont be purchasing another of this size again.

Nice rug but too chunky around the edgesTheaThis rug looks nice but it has been folded and stitched around the edges which makes them extra thick. For me, it is too much of a trip hazzard and not worth the risk. I ended up using it in a low traffic space instead. I wouldn;t have purchased it if I'd realised how chunky the edges were.

What is jute?
Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertiliser, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
