This one is a little too firm for me to be perfect but is the best I’ve found so far. The cool side is quite effective as well when I turn it over.
I really do feel for my pillows, they cop a lot of abuse - getting scrunched up and folded over. This is the first one in a long while that has been able to stand up to the abuse and spring back into shape for another night of abuse every time.5
Smelly pillow and pillow case from day 1HaiciI bought this pillow from Ikea Tempe today. It was in a cardboard box and without plastic bag sealing. The pillow and the pillow case came out an unpleasant smell even after I put on another clean pillow case. I have to wash the pillow case and put on two of my clean pillow cases. However the pillow was still smelly and I couldn’t sleep with it. The cardboard box package was gone and I have washed the pillow case. Not sure if I’m able to get a replacement pillow without the pillow case / cardboard box from IKEA Tempe? If not, I would lose $69 and my efforts shopping in IKEA today.1
Too Firm and High for Stomach SleepersSebastianBought two of these pillows because it's marketed for stomach sleepers, but it made both me and my partner wake up with neck pain. The foam is quite dense and the loft is higher than expected - even though the shape is contoured, it's still too elevated for a true stomach-sleeping position. If you're using a foam mattress like us, the added firmness from the pillow just compounds the issue.
We ended up switching to a soft, cushion-style pillow and felt immediate relief. Might work better for back or side sleepers who want contouring, but definitely not suitable for stomach sleepers who need a lower profile.1
