Poor qualityIreneUnfortunately, this is the 1st item I have purchased from IKEA that has been under parr. You get what you pay for. Drawer runners are stiff and drawers fit too tight, also materials are poor. These drawers aren't made to last, unfortunately they were the only ones available that would fit the space.2
Not worth itKylieDrawer runners are plastic and drawers are difficult to slide in and out. Drawers are a bit flimsy and when you have to use a bit of force to open them, there is a chance you will brake it.2

Plastic slides for the drawers are rubbishRhys K.I own the Malm upgrade version of this. When purchasing I would've assumed drawers come with metal slides as well instead it comes with cheap plastic ones that slide very poorly. Definitely do not purchase this. If your looking for something this size look elsewhere or buy the upgraded model that's 200mm longer.1

And because of this, the depth of the drawers is reduced quite a lot as they do not pull out all the way... Had we known this, we'd probably have bought the slightly more expensive version - or gone to F/Furniture who do a similar (steel based runners) version for less $.4

HorribleKristen B.Do NOT buy this dresser. It is the cheapest piece of furniture I’ve ever bought. The base boards for the drawers are paper thin and can hardly hold any clothes without bending. The paint is chipping and boards have snapped/wood has frayed after a MONTH of use. The pieces just slide into place with no real screws or anything to hold them in place firmly, so the drawer just falls apart every time you open it, it is truly horrible! Would never purchase this, or other furniture from here, again. Don’t listen to any of the positive reviews. This dresser looks like it’s made to hold an infants clothes only. Spend your money elsewhere!2

Good set of drawers. Won’t last for ever but perfect for what we needed them forKateLove the not too deep drawer in small room. Same depth as the Kallax unit which we have right next to it. Drawers don’t have runners etc but great for daughter’s tshirts and art stuff and bits and pieces. Took a fair while to put together but was simple enough. Need to allow a decent amount of floor space to assemble and good to put down some towels or blankets to ensure you don’t scratch the front sides.5

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
