Enjoy the super comfy KIVIK sofa with deep seat cushions made of pocket springs, high resilience foam and polyester fibres – adding both firm support and relaxing softness.

The size and depth of the sofa make it perfect for a nice nap, and when the whole family is gathered, there is room for everyone and even extra seating on the wide armrests.

The wide armrests have room for everything from your mobile phone to a bowl of movie snacks – and they are also comfortable to lay your head on when you lie down on the sofa for a rest.

KIVIK sofa has a strong personality and a clear design language, while the options mean that you can easily match it with your home decor.

You can place the chaise longue section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.

The chaise longue can either be used freestanding or added onto the sofas.

It's easy to combine the sofa with one or more chaise longues thanks to the removable armrests.

Pocket springs are a durable solution that makes the sofa retain both its shape and comfort for many years.

This cover is made of dope-dyed Gunnared fabric in polyester. It is a durable fabric with a wool-like feel, a warm look and a two-toned melange effect.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Great Value and QualityRoseI’ve had a few sofas over the years, but this IKEA one is hands down the best. I love how transparent their construction is, that I can see the framework and under the covers! The quality, build, and price are all great. Assembly can be a bit tricky for one person, but it’s worth it. Being able to remove and wash all the covers makes cleaning easy. The sofa styles stay consistent, so I can easily swap out the covers for a new look. Initially the lounge feels firm, but I like the support and the shorter seating depth is also good, avoiding the discomfort of sofas that are too deep. 5
Things I wish I knew about the KIVIK sofaOlympia LibbyThe KIVIK is quite difficult to put together without assistance and even though I have assembled many IKEA pieces in the past, I still found it very challenging. It seemed to be a cost effective alternative but in the end, you get what you pay for. We bought it for a low use kids area but is not a comfortable sofa for long term every day use by a family of adults.2
