“Compatible” is misleading, color temp will desyncYufengLong-time TRÅDFRI + STYRBAR user. After TRÅDFRI was discontinued, I bought KAJPLATS bulbs to add to my existing group, since IKEA claims full remote compatibility. It pairs fine, but TRÅDFRI only has 3 color temp steps vs KAJPLATS’ 8. STYRBAR sends relative step commands, so mixing them in one group makes color temps drift out of sync almost instantly, even from accidental presses, with no easy way to realign without a hub.
“Compatible” here only means pairing works, not that lighting stays consistent. If you have working TRÅDFRI bulbs, keep KAJPLATS on a separate group. IKEA should disclose this instead of letting buyers find out the hard way.

Not compatible with Dirigera hubEdwardBought a Dirigera hub to enable the new generation of IKEA Kajplat globes to work. Did not connect. A night of wasted effort transferring old gloves to the new hub just to get this useless bulb to connect. At least they do returns.

They just workGeoffI bought a ton of these and their GU10 siblings. They just work and play nicely with HomeKit and its Adaptive Lighting. During onboarding, make sure your phone and Wi-Fi network are both set to 2.4GHz only. Once set up, you can re-enable 5GHz.
