Blinds, HoppvalsLynneI recently purchased two 80cm wide Hoppvals blinds recently. They are really nice now they are up and fairly easy to install by just one person, me.
My only complaint is that I wish they were a bit longer, especially for the larger sized blinds. I live in an old house with tall windows so I have a roughly 10cm gap at the bottom. It doesnt particularly bother me really as the blinds are not for privacy but sunshade, however, a blind that has a 200cm, drop would be a better option for those of us with non-generic modern standards houses with ready made window frames. It wouldn't even interfere with the look of the blinds of any width as the blinds gather up very neatly from the bottom.
However, despite that niggle, they look good and are a big improvement on my old window shades.4
White cellular blind ideal for kitchenLynneI needed to replace our cellular kitchen blind. It was easy to install. It would have been good if it also came in a ‘fawn’ colour.5

The blinds are easy to pull down and can be lifted with one finger due to the internal spring loaded windup. No messy cords needed. The blinds are translucent so the block direct sun but still fill the room with light.

Hoppvals blindsLexThese blinds are very easy to install and look modern and neat in our new home. They definitely help keep the temperature down and hoping they will help with warmth in winter. They are made from a very light material and therefore i would expect them to be easily damaged so wouldn't recommend using them in a home were pets or young children could reach them.4

Hoppvals blinds JoanneI purchased two Hoppvals cellular blinds to use on my single glass doors. The build quality seems good for the price and they are very tidy and minimal looking in appearance.
Very easy to install.
Over all so far I'm happy with them.
But there are a few things to be aware of,
1, the blinds don't come with screws.
2, the Bracket are not adjustable. so with this bracket it sits about 30mm or 1.18 inches from the surface if fixing to a door or wall. This is important to remember if your intention is to help with thermal efficiency.
3, the clear plastic clip does require a bit of effort to get on.4

Hoppvals is a good insulator blind.AmandaThe spring in the original models was weak but the later models are much stronger. These blinds are good insulators as they work well in our Western facing windows that don't have external shutters.5
