Good Value and ToughAndrewExtra strength is provided by a stiff, heavy-duty board. This item is so good that when I returned to Ikea to purchase more, the store was out of stock! This disappointment contributed to the loss of one star in my rating.
Uh not sure why so popular, it’s overpriced.KaiIt’s basically a “high quality cardboard” box held together with bolt and rivet.
Thinner then I expected given the price, not thick cardboard.
When making the first one instructions suggest just pushing out the circle stamped cardboard cutouts from the outside with the rivet.
When I did this 4/16 holes ended up ripping the thin top paper like layer of the cardboard near the hole, exposing the inner cardboard layer, just like regular cardboard.
For the rest I pushed the cutouts out from the INSIDE carefully with a screwdriver, it was problem free this way and just takes extra time.
In my opinion the box is overpriced and ikea should consider having the cutout holes cut from the inside sides when manufacturing, if they want pushing the circle cutouts from the outside with the rivets to be problem free when done how the instructions suggest. Oh and make the cardboard ~3mm thicker.
Light and strongHoonLove the texture and the colour and design. $2 more than the white and worth it because it comes with 4 more screws for extra holds and strength.
