A silent and smooth-functioning roller-blind in soft polyester that effectively blocks out all light. You won’t tire easily of the playful yet discreet circle pattern that is visible only from certain angles.

Product details

Block-out blinds blocks light from shining through and completely darkens your room.

Can be mounted inside or outside the window recess, or in the ceiling.

It is easy to pre-set the drop-length of the blind. Simply remove from brackets, pull down to desired length and re-mount in brackets. When you release the blind, it will drop to the pre-set length.

Pulls up and releases downward silently thanks to the clever design of the damper inside the roller blind.

The white circle pattern on the white fabric is visible only from certain angles. It is interesting yet discreet so you won’t get tired of it.

The blind is cordless for increased child safety.

No need to change fittings or drill new holes if you change your blinds. The included wall/ceiling brackets are suitable for LÅNGDANS and SANDVEDEL roller blinds and FÖNSTERBLAD block-out roller blind.

Good to know

The 155 cm drop length is ideal for windows with a sill or when you want to avoid covering radiators or furniture.

The fabric and the colour are UV-resistant.

The top rail of blinds that are 60 cm wide or less cannot be cut as this will damage the spring mechanism.

The roller blind can be mounted in- or outside the window recess.

Different wall/ceiling materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the wall/ceiling in your home, sold separately.

Wall fittings included.

RIKTIG draw rod is sold separately.

Great price and nice risePeterA bargain at $17AUD for this blockout blind. I needed to cut it to fit my frame which I managed to do without too much fuss (tip: read the instructions carefully ;) ). The most pleasant surprise was how controlled the rise is. When you yank it to raise it, rather than elastically propelling upwards like most pull-blinds, it rises uniform motion as if it were electrically-powered. Very satisfying.5

Fonsterblad Blockout Roller BlindsPhillipWe bought these online, as we live in regional NSW and trips to Sydney are infrequent. Delivery was very quick, and very good value. Our first surprise - the "fabric" blinds are not a woven or felted fabric - think "sheet of smooth plastic". However, the discreet circles design is very nice and the colour suited our needs. We bought these blinds both as an economy measure (they are stunning value), and because they can be cut to length. In the end though, we hung each blind on a slight angle overlapping the next blind, avoiding the chore of cutting them. We doubted our ability to cut evenly, especially the plastic blind panel. We are very happy. One blind of six bought has a slightly rough/erratic manner as it re-rolls up, but it is still working so far (about 3-4 months). The other 5 blinds work like a dream - these blinds retract themselves with a slow-close motion which is very cool and almost silent. A couple of the blinds have an edge of the plastic "fabric" which curls in a little when they are down, no idea why. Doesn't affect their use, nor the light-blocking effect we wanted.5
