These fronts won't lastMikhailThese door fronts look good but the laminate is very thin and soft so they can be dented very easily. Once the laminate is damaged and exposed to water (i.e. when wiped with a wet sponge) these would swell. Don't even think of putting these in a rental - these fronts would be damaged quickly! Also, due to the texture and white colour, they collect more dirt and require more cleaning effort. You can clearly see this in the IKEA showroom - these are the only fronts that look dirty. It's not that bothersome in real life, but just something to keep in mind. It's great value for money but if you want the fronts to last for years then better get another more expensive model.3

We often use paper foil for storage furniture, while plastic foil suits demanding areas like kitchens and bathrooms. Today, the plastic we use is mostly recycled and our goal is to use plastic from renewable sources. Laminate is made of resin-impregnated paper, which adds a durable and moisture-resistant surface for countertops.
