Reversible back cushions filled with polyester fibres provide soft support for your back and two different sides to wear.
Seat cushions filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibre wadding give comfortable support for your body, and easily regain their shape when you get up.
Hakebo cover feels soft and smooth and has a nice texture that makes the sofa comfortable and inviting.
You can choose from many different covers and find one that you like and suits your home.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.The cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

BumpyPaulineOur cushions get very puffy and we seem to sit on lumps in one area.
Not like it used to beAngeOwned the same couch 9 years ago. Recently bought this one and the quality has depleted considerably. So disappointed with purchase. The frame and covers still are fine but the quality of the cushions are atrocious. Probably won’t even get a year out of them. They are so thin and just a bit of stuffing. They used to be firm and much better quality. Living with the regret of buying this couch again. Would not recommend unless you plan on spending hundreds of dollars replacing the cushions.
Reasonable valueKarenSofa isn’t as good quality as our old one but for the cost is reasonable. Unfortunately the inserts are inferior and appear old after just a few months. We will likely get these replaced with a more superior foam.
Versatile comfortDawnGreat comfortable couch to join our 2 other 2 seater Ektorps. The removable and washable covers give us peace of mind with 2 dogs in the family and allows us to change up the mood and colour when we switch from neutral to sage or grey in the winter.

Strong, comfy, reliable sofasEmilyThis is my second time buying a sofa from the Ektorp range. These Ektorp sofas are strong and last ages, and can handle my kids jumping on it unlike many other brands I’ve tried outside of ikea.
They’re super comfy for both sitting and sleeping, when you remove the back cushions the seat space is almost as wide as a single bed.
Much easier to keep clean because the whole thing has slip covers that can be washed in the washing machine and if you want to switch up the look you can just buy a different colour cover, no need to buy a whole new couch or those one size fits all covers that never quite look right.
The next sofa I buy will come from IKEA too lol
I just can’t find anywhere else that sells this quality at this price unless it’s second hand.

They don't make them like they used to!IanWe've bought a number of Ektorp sofas and chairs over the years and have noticed obvious cost-cutting with each new purchase, including reduced/inferior-quality padding and poorer-quality fabric. Our most recent purchase has a cheap fabric on the under-side of the seat cushions, meaning they can no longer be flipped over. So disappointing! The Ektorp has a great style about it and the removable washable covers are great. We'd rather pay a little extra for a better quality product.
Love this couch!KaraI bought the chaise, sofa bed and arm chair versions of this couch and they are all still in use 15 years later. They’ve lasted me interstate moves, I updated the look over time with new covers. I have now moved again and looking to replace the chaise with a new three seater for room proportion preference. I can’t recommend this couch enough.
Comfy sofaKarenThis is the 4th Ektorp sofa we have bought so been very happy in the past. It’s extremely comfy, however the cover fabric and quality has changed. It’s a magnet for dog hair and sticks to the fabric like glue! White dog, blue sofa is not a good mix
