First Ikea sofa and disappointedWendyWhilst the springs in the seat of this sofa provide reasonable support, the back cushions are soft and unstructured. They easily distort and do not provide any back support. I am constantly trying to re-shape them, however, even after just a few months they are quickly sag again. I would suggest Ikea should consider much firmer foam and some internal structure for back cushions. Will not buy again.3

Ekholma - Kilanda Beige - 3 SeaterNikkiWe recently purchased the Ekholma 3 seater and 2 seater in the Kilanda Beige fabric and all i can say is WOW!!! I'm not sure what these other reviews are talking about with with regards to the covers tearing within seconds as we have not found this to happen to us. My husband assembled both of the sofa's while i was at work and he is a brute and even he managed to put the covers on the cushions with ease. As for washing them, we had to wash the covers courtesy of our border collie thinking the sofa was his, and put dirt all over it. Put them on a cold wash and hung them out and they look as good as the day it got put together. You will definitely love this sofa. YES it's firm to start with, but it softens up nicely over time. We have had ours now for a 2 months now and it's getting better as time goes by. Fluff up the back cushions and your back to looking like new again. 5
