Lack of instructionAngelaIt took a long time to figure out how to pair the IKEA LED light because the instructions were not sufficient. I eventually found a third‑party YouTube video that explained the process. I recommend that IKEA include clearer instructions or a video link to make the setup easier for customers. Otherwise, the light works very well, and the magnetic mounting tape is a great detail.3
Unfit for purposeJasonDifficult to pair with my Home Assistant server. Also sorts of network issues getting them to function. They die overnight, literally non-responsive to anything, you have to hard reset them start the whole nightmare of pairing them again. These things are JUNK in my opinion.1

Dual Button - BILRESA. Useful or not?HowardI purchased this button remote specifically to try in Home Assistant. Although it is a Matter device it is actually Thread over Matter so I needed a Thread Border Router. Once I had that it was relatively easy to set up in Home Assistant and I set up the two buttons with short press, double press and hold so effectively 6 options. Possibly not the intention of the IKEA designer but works a treat and is very useful. Plain white and the buttons are differentiated by one being a small dimple and the other a larger dimple. For the price they are certainly good value for money.4

Great when they workJoelThis product is small, compact, discrete and easy to set up and use with HomeKit.
BUT, they seem to have an enthusiastic sleep/rest mode. They frequently lose connection to the Home. They will eventually connect again, but it is unpredictable. It appears to be a firmware/product set up thing which can hopefully be fixed through an update or similar.2
Solid Matter button at a good priceAaronGood looking buttons that easily connected to my Home Assistant Server easily.
I also quite like how they use AAA batteries as I won’t need to replace them for years and when I do I won’t have to go looking for some obscure button cell.5
Can not be paired with DirigeraEffendyCheap but do not work with Ikea Home Hub + Dirigera, unfortunately all previous remote that actually works were discontinued.1
