Old world charmJudyI was looking for just a small lamp shade to go on a base that I already had. It was very hard finding one. All the small bedside lamps came complete with both parts. When I saw the Arskog table lamp I fell in love with it and was glad to see that it came in both polished silver and polished gold. Both were beautiful and the choice was hard to make. A feature that was different from all other lamps was the hanging chain to switch the light on and off. Since using it I absolutely love that I don't have to go fiddling around in the dark to find the switch. The pleated fabric and conical shape of the shade softens the look and adds to the old world charm.5
