That mattress turned into a cracker after just five years, provided no cushioning or support. So far (just a few months in) this one one is much better. Hopefully it lasts a bit longer than the previous one.

Daybed mattressSandyThe mattress is very thick so the daybed sits higher than a normal bed. It is very firm but ok for a nap during the day. We have not tried a nights sleep on it yet. I thought being thicker it would be softer to sleep on but it is quite firm. It comes compressed in a roll but seemed to flatten out pretty quickly.

Mattress SizeHansI have an IKEA King Single bed. As Ikea has no King Single mattresses I had to by an Abygda Queen mattress and cut it down to King Single size. Quite a waste of money and time spent on that.
Somehow I think IKEA should re-introduce the King Single range, beds/mattresses, as the population is not getting shorter - just have a good look at the jounger generation. They are all taller than their parents.
