Book a van with GoGet

How it works

1. Join for free

IKEA Family members can sign up for free here and save $49 a year with no renewal fees.

2. Get your smartcard

Pick up your smartcard from the IKEA Delivery desk. Download the GoGet App on iOS or Android and activate your card to access vehicles.

3. Book a Van

Reserve a van through the GoGet App or website. You will receive an email confirmation with booking details, including the fuel card pin. Fuel is included, and you only need to refill if the tank drops below ¼.

4. Pick up and drive

Unlock your vehicle using the GoGet Smartcard, load up your IKEA purchases and drive away.

5. Need more time?

If the vehicle is available you can extend your booking by 30 minutes or more through the app.

6. Return the van

Bring the van back to the same location, swipe your Smartcard to lock it, and you're all set.

7. Keep using GoGet

Your membership gives you acces to GoGet's fleet of 3,000+ vehicles. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your account at any time.

Good to know basics

• You will need a physical driving licence and your credit card (or paypal) details to sign up.
• You need 1 year + independent driving experience, there are no age restrictions.
• Minimum booking is 1 hour, and the service is round trip only (where you pick up from and you return to).
• All vehicles include a toll tag and fuel card. Tolls are passed on at cost with no admin fees. Fuel is included. If the tank drops below ¼, simply fill up using the fuel card in the car.
• Road side assistance is included (fees may apply if deemed at fault).
