How do I purchase an IKEA Gift card?

You can purchase your digital gift card online from IKEA.com or buy a physical gift card at any IKEA store.

You can buy a digital gift card directly from the IKEA website. For a physical gift card, visit your nearest IKEA store. Both physical and digital gift cards can be used to pay for your purchase in store, online on the IKEA website or app, or through our sales support by phone or chat.   
IKEA Gift card validity 
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue or activation. 
Maximum value of IKEA Gift cards 
The maximum amount that can be loaded on a gift card is $1000.00 per card. Please note that gift cards cannot be cancelled or exchanged for cash. Physical cards cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. You cannot get a refund for the amount loaded on gift cards. 
What payment methods can I use to buy an IKEA Gift card at IKEA? 
  • All major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express). 
  • Mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay) {In-store only}
  • Cash {In-store only}

Good to know 
  • Online purchases of gift cards have limitations of a $5000.00 transaction, and this can be done over a maximum of 5 gift cards.
  • There is no limit on the number of gift cards that can be purchase in-store.
Important: Please refrain from accepting cards marked as 'refund cards' from sources other than an IKEA store or from IKEA Customer support. While gift cards may be purchased from different sources, refund cards are only provided as an alternative to a refund directly provided by IKEA co-workers or through our IKEA customer support.
