Why is there a gap between my BESTA unit shelf and door or drawer front?
The BESTA shelves will come with a standard bracket however when you purchase drawer runners or hinges, these will come with an alternate bracket for you to use which eliminates the gap.
The BESTA unit will come with standard brackets. When you purchase drawer runners or hinges, you will find alternative brackets with these items. Installing the alternative brackets will remove the gap between your shelf and door or drawer front.
For your reference, the alternative parts are parts 115444 and 115443 listed in the assembly guide of your drawer runners or hinges. Using these components will ensure the shelf sits level with the top of your door or drawer front and not sit above.
