Where are your products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured by hundreds of different suppliers worldwide. Every IKEA supplier is subject to our supplier code of conduct, IWAY.

The exact country of origin will always be available on the product label for each IKEA product.
A single product may consist of several components from different countries, and the same product may be sourced from different suppliers depending on the country of sale.

How does IKEA choose suppliers?

For IKEA, choosing suppliers is not just a question about finding the right quality, at the right price. We also want to make sure that our environmental standards are met, and that everyone involved is treated fairly.
To achieve our goals, we've developed a code of conduct for suppliers called IWAY (short for the IKEA way on purchasing products, materials and services). IWAY is based on widely recognised international documents and conventions for human rights, environmental protection, and worker safety, as well as on IKEA values and legal compliance.
