Why is my kitchen design locked?
Your kitchen design might be locked if an IKEA co-worker is currently working on it, or if it has been used to create an item list. No worries though! You can create a copy of your kitchen drawing and continue designing with the new copy.
A kitchen drawing created in the IKEA Kitchen planner becomes locked if you are working on it together with an IKEA co-worker, or they have imported it to their internal sales system to make an item list. If you want to be able to proceed with the kitchen design on your end, you can make a copy of the locked drawing and save it under a new name. This way you are able to make all the changes you want in the copied version. This is how to proceed:
- Navigate to the start page of the IKEA Kitchen planner and sign in.
- Find your locked drawing.
- Press the "3-dots" symbol to the right of the drawing title.
- Press "Duplicate".
- Save it under a new name and continue designing with the new copy!
