How can I get help from IKEA with the design of my IKEA kitchen?

We offer several ways to connect with an IKEA kitchen specialist, allowing you to choose the method that works best for you. You can choose between In-Store Appointment, Online Appointment, and In-Home Appointment depending on which service is most convenient for you.

You have several ways of getting help with the design of your IKEA kitchen. 
  • In-store planning appointment 
    Meet one-on-one with an IKEA kitchen specialist for up to one-and-a-half hours at your local IKEA store. This allows you to see and touch products in person while finalising your design. This service is free. 
     
    Choose an in-store planning appointment when: 
    • You prefer face-to-face interaction. 
    • You want to see and feel the kitchen and all its components in person before making a final decision. 
    • You are comfortable taking your own accurate measurements beforehand. 
        
  • Online planning appointment 
    From the comfort of your home, you can meet virtually with a kitchen specialist for up to one hour. Through a video call, the IKEA kitchen specialist will design your new kitchen right before your eyes. This service is free. 
     
    Choose an online planning appointment when: 
    • You value convenience and want to plan your kitchen from home. 
    • You are comfortable with virtual meetings and screen-sharing technology. 
    • You have already taken accurate measurements of your space and have a good idea of the styles you like from browsing online. 
  • In-home planning appointment
    An experienced kitchen specialist will visit you at home for an up to three-hour appointment to both measure your space and plan your kitchen with you. Choose an in-home appointment when: 
    • You want the ultimate convenience of a specialist coming to you. 
    • You want the same person who plans your kitchen to also take or verify the professional measurements, ensuring accuracy from the start. 
    • You live within one of the eligible postcodes for this service.

How should I proceed if I know that I want to book a planning appointment?
