Useless for my needs and I had to uninstall them.GinaThis product does not match its description. It states, "You can keep the blind open in the desired position by securing it in place with the included clips." However, the included clips slide off and do not hold the blinds up at all. Because they cannot be maintained in an open position, they are useless for my needs and I had to uninstall them. These blinds are only suitable if you intend to keep them closed constantly.

These pleated blinds have been a real relief, giving me the sun control I needed. Light still enters, but it no longer harms my plants or fades my furniture. At night they also provide privacy; even with the lights on, no one can see inside. The material is basic, so they are not for daily opening and closing. They are meant to be installed and left as they are, which makes them ideal for rentals like mine where I cannot add new curtains. I placed them behind my blackout curtains and they fit perfectly. Simple, affordable, and practical, they do exactly what they promise. I can cover these four windows because my large window door still provides light and air, but if the window you plan to cover is your main source, it may not be the best choice. Buy smart; this product is well designed for low budgets and easy repairs.
