Care
Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws and other connectors when necessary.
Safety and compliance
Be aware of the danger of young children falling from the upper bunk.For safety reasons the mattress (not included) must not be more than 19 cm thick.IMPORTANT! Do not screw hooks, handles etc. onto the bed or hang things on it in which children can get caught when playing. E.g. loops of rope, belts etc.

Loving the loft bedLeeMy teen son simply loves his double loft bed and the spaciousness it has afforded him.
It's a quality build which he revelled in assembling within the hour of it arriving.
Not willing to compromise on his gaming habits, he's setting up an enviable gaming station below that doubles as a functional study space.

Is this for adults?GihanAn excellent concept. For a studio this gives us space we didn't have before. My wife and I use it. We checked and double checked if this is designed to sleep two adults and the consensus from IKEA personel was it can, even though we couldn't find it in writing.
Two weeks into use, the bed started to sway. I keep tightening the screws. It works well for week or two and the bed starts to sways.
There are others who have modified the bed to make it sturdy. I haven't gone down that road, yet.
I'm happy with the bed for what it gives us. But it looks like this is going to be a long term problem.
Possibly great kindling?StevanExtremely unstable, have ended up getting a cabinet maker to install diagonal cross bracing to fix that issue. Coating on the timber isn’t remotely decent enough for typical wear and tear you would get with children. Over all pretty poor also when considering only the ikea mattress fits in properly etc
Excellent LeeMy daughter loves her loft bed. Gives so much room underneath, was able to put a desk underneath that we also purchased from ikea. Had to get someone from ikea to put it together for me.

Provides me extra space for couch and tv downstairs so satisfied with the product. Would prolly advice getting the paid assembling services. It was however fun to assemble.
Really Good and very sturdy bedJakeThe loft bed is a perfect size and high for my small room and allowed me the ability to add other stuff under, allowing me to turn it into a bit of home, it does wobble on the side when getting on, but that is normal cause it a loft bed, and they wobble, but for this bed, it is very sturdy and would 100% recommend if you're in a small room and want to free up space. I wish there were different colours other than white, but it's okay cause u could paint it.
It was a little bit confusing to put it together, and you need 2 people for part of it.

Surprisingly good for an adultCaseyI love this bed and would keep it forever, but its time for an upsize. It has been really handy in my schooling life for studying. Very cozy and the barriers aren't annoying for an adult sized person. This quite a tall bunk, so the ceilings would need to be higher for it to fit comfortably. It doesn't squeak as much as you'd imagine and is very sturdy.

Don't believe all the reviewsEmmaI almost didn't buy this bed as the reviews said it was so wobbly and un-sturdy, purchased it planning to buy brackets to attach to the walls.
The bed is perfect, yes it may move slightly when your climbing the ladder, but wouldn't you expect that from a bed of this height! it certainly is not in any way un-sturdy, I didn't even have to buy wall brackets in the end as they are not needed.
The wood is solid and its extremely well built, possibly others are not tightening the bolts enough when putting it together.
We have a very high ceiling in my daughters bedroom so this is perfect for us, it would not work in a room with a standard ceiling height.
