Pretty good sideboardAaronNo complaints on this piece. Took me a minute to put together my myself, but looks great as a coffee bar for us and functions as it should.

Love the Malsjo SideboardJulieFinally found the time to put together the Malsjo Sideboard. Although a little time consuming, the instructions were spot on and everything fit perfectly. The resulting product is exactly what we were looking for!
FYI, for lighting, we used some LED tape lighting with a remote ($15 at Menards) along the back support board. Very well hidden and just the right amount of light to show off the glassware, etc in the cabinet.
So happy with this purchase.

Love this dining room consoleAmyyAfter "saving" and "favoriting" this piece for a few years, I brought it home and it's everything I hoped for. The drawers and sliding glass doors are IKEA smooth and it's exactly right in my dining room.
Assembly ImpossibleJennieIt looks like IKEA deleted my previous review after leaving two inappropriate replies. One reply called me by the wrong name and one addressed the wrong problem. My MALSJO is not damaged, the instructions are unclear and customer service is so poor I haven’t been able to get help. I have purchased this item, I have built 75% of it, it is not damaged, but I’m saying the quality is poor because it’s unusable and I have been unable to reach any useful support
Instructions UnclearJennieI reached a part of the instructions I can’t move past, I still have no solution, and IKEA’s customer service system is so awful there’s no solution. No one on any video platform has instruction videos, so it’s basically a massive waste of space.

Loved the sideboard.BarbaraWas a little hard figuring out the doors but finally came together. I whose you had better lighting to put inside all your cabinets. We also purchased other cabinets. We would have loved lights for those as well. We look but couldn’t find anything that would work. 😩

Stylish but difficult drawersPaulVery classy look but make sure you know your left from right. Instructions are lacking especially when installing the drawers. If you don't catch the plastic thingee under the drawer when sliding it in, the drawer becomes a safety hazard; a child could have the drawer fall on them.
Love the look!LuisWe just got it yesterday and put it together today. There were a million pieces and deciphering the instructions was quite a task. There is a strip that has no real clear instruction… learned later that it is for a light somehow. I truly wish there was more Information. I would love to add the light!

Lovely Side TableDeborahI love my side table, but when ot was delivered and I emptied the boxes, I was overwhelmed with the number of pieces, nuts, screws, etc. there were. Day by day, it began to take shape. I would suggest more written detailed directions than the manual had, and having things color coded would be another great idea💡.
