Lowering my bed!JohnGot rid of my old box spring and lowered my bed with the Luroy slats. Easy to place down since my bed is an IKEA frame! Live my lowered bed.5
Good, not greatGregGood , not great, a solid platform is better4
Slats do not stay in placeAprilSlats do not stay in place and fall through the bedframe to the floor. Slats should be available in one solid length depending on bed size, not two separate rows of slats. The plastic pieces to hold it in place continuously fall off the metal frame. Terrible design!1

does not stay in placeCarolineSlats move and plastic brackets break.3
falls apartMeganThe slats do not stay in place. Over time they shift and fall through to the floor. There is no way to secure them/prevent them from shifting. I previously had the Lonset slatted bed base which was much more secure. I am disappointed that the Lonset is no longer available in Canada.1
Sizing variation across merchanidseCelinaPurchased a box that came with two "sets" of slats. One was shorter than the other. This resulted in one fitting my bed frame perfectly, and the other's rope not being able to stretch far enough to be secured on the bed frame.2
Setup not goodJoyeetaIt always goes down, and destroy sleep. Since bought that, almost every night need to setup even in midnight, or need to sleep in wavey bed which is not good for health. continue struggling to set it up in proper place.2
Turns Twin Mattress into MountainAlexIt's not suitable for a twin, you end up rolling off the sides as you try to sleep, sides always feeling like you're hanging off. This is because of the arched shape.1
works greatCindyinexpensive, effective, easy to install5
Don't FitColleenDoesn't fit in my double/full bed so wasyed money now giving it away very disappointing1

Strong but don't jump on it 😅ChengI know you won't jump on it but sleep great ! No werid spring bumps for 4yrs now !5
Luröy Queen FrameZoeI’ve had this bed longer than I can remember. It’s moved to 4 houses and across Canada from Edmonton to Quebec. I lost my instructions on how to assemble it so thank Goodness I could look it up on line. I’ve often thought of painting or staining it but I can’t bring myself to cover the natural wood!5
Not good for a double size bedLucieDoes not fit properly on a double bed size and keeps getting off the edges it sits on so the mattress keeps falling into the drawer space. I had an older version of this bed with slats made for a double bed size and never had any issues. This new standard size does not work at all1
Strong and durableManishaIt might look flimsy but this slatted bed base is strong and durable. If u want extra support - u can try using 2 (which is what i did)5
Disappointed BrivianI hate that it’s not flat! The curve makes it hard to sleep comfortably. I wouldn’t recommend 1
SHORTENED SLATSElenaWriggle and make noise now. Old slats were tight and had an arch to support weight. Look carefully at the photos see gap and how flat they sit now...no good.1

What is layer-glued wood?

With layer-glued wood it’s possible to create flexible and extra strong constructions with curved shapes, like frames for armchairs. The secret is a technique where many layers of thin wood veneer are glued together and then pressed into the desired shape. We often use wood like birch, beech, ash and even bamboo – and strive to use the raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste. Just like solid wood, it has natural variations in structure and colour.
