Baked apples with almonds

Ingredients:

Baked apples with almonds
2x 60 g (2 packs) MUNSBIT roasted and lightly salted almonds
4 apples
2 1/5 oz soft butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
5 tbsp ground cinnamon
4 tsp light syrup or honey

Step by step

  1. Heat the oven to 390F
  2. Cut off the tops of the apples and scoop out the flesh to create a hole. Place the apples in an oven-proof dish. Roughly chop the almonds and mix them with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Fill the apple holes with the mixture and drizzle the apples with syrup or honey.
  4. Bake the apples in the oven for 30 minutes until they are soft.

 

Tip!

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
