Very ImpressedKathleenI love this wardrobe. I am very impressed with the quality. The packaging is very thoughtful and everything arrived in pristine shape. All of the pieces went together just right. The predrilled holes were very precise. The finish on it is really nice and seems like it’s going to be durable. I love that it is customizable as far as choosing which side you want the larger cabinet, how you want the shelves spaced, and where you want the hanger bar. This wasn’t hard to put together, but it was time-consuming. I split it up between about 3 evenings. I’d say it would take 2 people about 3-4 hours to do it all in one go. This thing is huge! Which is why I wanted it. But the room it is in is quite small, and that made assembly a little tricky. Be mindful of where it’s going and formulate a plan for how it’s going to go together and how you’re going to stand it up, and don’t try to do it alone. I highly recommend this wardrobe!5
Spacious wardrobeCathyI am using this unit in my quilting room to store fabric, projects in progress, threads, and quilt tops awaiting quilting. It doesn't take up a lot of space but holds a lot! Fairly straightforward to build, but I would recommend an illustration that shows the correct orientation of the backing of the cabinet so the fold is hidden. We also had one drawer front that was improperly drilled, which was replaced by IKEA promptly.5

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
