I prefer the old orange setCarolThese tools aren’t as effective as the older orange set. I tried to install small hooks and attach wire to a painting, but the small philips screwdriver didn’t align properly with a standard screw, and the pliers couldn’t cut through the metal wire. Just basic tasks the previous version handled with ease.2

Handy tool kit that can help with anyhingJosephFirst time going to an Ikea to pick up an online purchase and while waiting I was looking around. Found this tool kit that caught my attention based on the tools provided. Decided to purchase as I needed a home only tool kit for small things like home fixes or furniture installation. Used it same day to put together the 79 1/2 Billy bookcase plus height extension shelf. Almost all the tools provided in this kit was used to assemble my purchase and I was amazed at how easy it was. Hammer plus the rubber attachment was handy to have pegs fit in a snug fitting. Screwdriver with bit attachments made the work easy with again having all I needed with me right away. Lastly the final tool used was the pliers with was a lifesaver when I had to backtrack on some mistakes I made and needed to pull the wood pegs out. I have my own tools but mostly for my work. I find this kit works just for home use when you need to perform small repairs or diy work. In the end I highly recommend!5

Buy this! JanaWas so happy I purchased this kit. I thought I didn't need any more tools, BUT.... a US. Philips screw is not the type of screw used in IKEA furniture. IKEA uses a European screw that LOOKS like a Philips but is not. This kit contains the correct type of screwdriver, and made it super easy to assemble IKEA furnture. Please note: I am a 69 year old woman.5
