WabblyAnonymous reviewerI like the style of the bed but what I'm finding is that my 11 year old daughter who weights all of 100 lbs socking wet, just from moving around on the bed, I notice it's a bit wabbly.
I did assemble it correctly and securely, but I think it's simply how the bed is made.3
Great loft bedJuliaThe loft bed looks great won't bump our heads. Love that it's a full size bed.5
40 yo female: STORÅ is MY bedAnonymous reviewerI am a 40 year old woman, 5’1” weighing 150 lbs, and I bought the STORÅ loft bed for myself in September 2022. Although it is not recommended, I managed to assemble it by myself. September 2024, I moved into a new house; disassembled and reassembled this loft bed, once again, by myself (not recommended). I love being able to use the floor space under for two sets of 2x4 KALLAX shelf units, they fit nicely beneath the bed.
This is more than just another bed for a kid. A loft bed may not work for all adults and I have a guest room with an on-the-floor bed frame for visitors. But in my room, I choose to sleep on STORÅ loft bed. I live in northern CA and have gone through a little 3.5 earthquake while on the bed, it wobbled a bit but was completely fine. I like having to climb the ladder because it is another way I stay active without ever needing a gym. Also, using the STORÅ loft bed prevents me from lounging in bed all day. I have cats and they quickly learned how to climb the ladder. 5
survived a 4.8 earthquake 👍🏻Parkerwhile there are many things I like about this bed as a college student in a small apartment, I am most impressed by its sturdiness and quality. This morning I was awoken by an earthquake that measured 4.8 on the richter scale, and while this bed has a tendency to rock and move a little, it stayed in place and was, upon inspection, completely unharmed. i had mine professionally assembled by taskrabbit, which probably helped!5

Good loft bed which can use some enhancements.RizwanHeight is good enough for a 5'5" high schooler to stand under it. That was the driving factor for this purchase.
For this price, I would have expected to have the option to add a board to make a table. The mid section support is perfect height for such a board. Intend to add the board myself.
Although the bed is full size (wider footprint); still I would have liked to see additional hardware for anchoring the bed to the wall. Overall I do like the product. 4
Great for the priceSandraIn the showroom, I was nervous that the bunk bed would be flimsy. After properly putting the bed together and adding my own supports, it seems fine. We purchased this bunk bed for the extra height. I have a lot of vertical space in my place l, but not a lot of square footage. This was a perfect solution. I hope ikea explores more vertical space solutions.5
Loft BedLizyBought this for my teenage son. He absolutely loves this bed. He is one person that rarely likes things, however this bed has exceeded his expectations! He has stated that he has a lot of space because of this bed and he was extremely proud of building it together with his father! Glad we made this purchase.5
2 Hours to assemble??? Try 7.5DarceeIt comes in 3 boxes. Common sense would suggest putting the pieces to match the box! We had to open all of the boxes just to be able to put the top of the bed together, You have to assemble the top before you can do anything else. Box 1 should contain the top pieces, box 2 should contain the sides and braces and box 3 the bed slates and the stairs. Boom! DONE1
Nightmare Fuel!JPros: it looks nice when assembled.
Cons: Components should be numbered and maybe use orientation arrows. instructions are vague. Mandatory two people to assemble. You need a large room. All boxes contain components from all different stages. Final product is wobbly--consider adding in support brackets under the bed and possibly reinforcing the legs, as the entire product shakes due to the flexibility of the tiny support legs.
Also consider adding your own handles to climb the ladder and get out of the bed safely.3
Loft bed for a teenAnonymous reviewerMy son put this in his room to free up space. We moved into an apartment while we look for a house and he loves having the bottom open for school and gaming.5
Like bed but directions suckNathanPut the bed together took some time due to no directions just photos to off of. There was 3 boxes that came n had to open all 3 to find parts. To make easier maybe put all part 1 in box 1 n so on. Other then that my granddaughter loves the bed. The bed is Really high I can walk under it so make sure u have the room for it4
it's high to the ceiling. good build.StevenNice bunk and lots of room in the bottom. The problem is it's very high. Very close to the ceiling. 7ft high. Measure to see if it fits first. Took forever to assemble. It's nice and solid.4
Full size high loftBellaThis is the 2nd one I have purchased in 6 years. Great full size loft! someone 5’8 can still walk under comfortably. Product held up very well overtime.5
Needs improvementFernandoHere's a few issues I've encountered when assembling this product:
1) As others pointed out, you need pieces from boxes #1 and #3, not sure if parts could be reshuffled to only need from box #1
2) Some parts are very difficult to identify, adding stickers would help immensely
3) The manual contains at least one error in the form of number of bed slats (manual says 16 and there's only 15) and positioning of bed slats - manual gives the impression that one side is colored and the other doesn't when both sides are colored.
4) Overall quality is very low. One of the nuts sunk in the wood as I tightened to the point that the wood cracked. Maybe if a semi circular washer was used similar to some Ikea chairs it would be better in that sense
5) It is flimsy as others pointed out. Doesn't feel as it is gonna collapse, but very flimsy overall. I added some L brackets and the screws would not tighten fully due to wood being too soft2
Teen Son Loves ItVictoriaI initially ordered a way more expensive loft bed at PB, but it didn’t work well in my sons room. This bed technically didn’t fit either, but if I was going to hack anything, it would be the less expensive bed. This is a great quality loft bed. It fits well in my sons room and gives him a lot more floor space. My only issue is that the bed is very shaky. Once I figure out how to fix that, we’ll be all good!5
Great bunk bed for myTheresaGreat bunk bed for my kids! Looks great in their room!5
Kids bedBrittanyMy kiddo loved his new bed! He was so excited for it5
Turned out Perfect!!!CarolinaWe bought this bed because our son's bedroom was small and we wanted him to have floorspace to play in. At first I was not too keen on the loft bed as it was too wobbly for my comfort. Our 6 year old was not too keen on it's height either. I decided to modify it a bit by cutting off 12" to drop it down a bit. This made it less wobbly (still anchored it to the wall for safety) and our son was more comfortable with the height. Not to mention that even though we have vaulted ceilings it was really close to the ceiling fan. This height adjustment solved that issue as well. Now I do not need to worry if my kiddo will hit his head on the ceiling fan if he wakes up in the middle of the night. All in all we could not be happier with our purchase, he still has plenty of room for his table and as he grows he can still place a desk or make it a sitting area if he wishes to.5
space saverRealvinMy son loves it. Works very well in small rooms5
