DO NOT BUY THIS DRESSERWesThis is a horrible design. You can barely fit your hand in the dresser drawer when it opens. Took me all day to build only to find out it’s worthless. Don’t waste your time. IKEA should offer new tracks for the drawers and fire the person who put this on the market. 1

Looks Great, but...MattI have to agree with several other reviewers, the dresser looks great with plenty of space, but that space is mostly wasted due to the drawer slides. The drawer only opens about half way which makes putting anything other than socks inside a bit of a chore. Then when you need one of those socks, better hope it's not in the back of the drawer because you'll need a yoga pose and a flashlight to see it.3
SONGESAND DRESSERGabrielaHonestly I really liked this dresser , at first I thought it was too short for me and I’m 5’3 but I adapted to it. I love the black handles. Drawers don’t open all the way but honestly it’s not a big issue. You can still see the whole dresser from above if that makes sense. You wouldn’t even realize it doesn’t open all the way unless you’re picky and delicada haha. Anyways you should definitely get this dresser !! 5
Looks great! JohannaI read the comments addressing the 7in drawers opening and decided to take a look at them at my local Ikea. Honestly, doesn’t bother me. They’re pretty decent in my opinion, I fit way more stuff in these than my last set! 5
Too narrow drawer openingNataliaIt's enerving to use this dresser daily for my kids clothes. The drawers have an excellent size but only half of each drawer comes out leaving too narrow of a space to see what is inside and picking it up/putting it away. Will return this.2
Absolutely horrible (zero star)SageIt's a pain to pull out the drawers. And the drawers cannot be pulled out completely--not even half way. There is no way to use the drawers. Unfortunately, I bought this over a year ago and only recently assembled it and discovered the other negative reviews. IKEA refused to accept this as a return even if it designed and sold this faulty product to the market. A complete waste of money on this, as well as a matching night stand. Being a customer of many years, I will not order from IKEA ever again. 1

Looks nice but drawers don't come out far enoughLaurenI bought this because it looked really nice (and Hemnes has been unavailable forever now). Assembly was fairly straightforward, as usual for Ikea furniture. But when I went to try to start using it, I realized how little the drawers pull out. It makes them practically useless and they seem way way smaller than they are since they only pull about halfway out. I didn't notice that in the description and even if I did, who would have thought that the drawer coming out 19 cm would mean that half the drawer was barely accessible.2
poorly designedHarleyOur nearest Ikea is an hour away. Finally decided on this dresser, took it home, assembly was manageable, but i was soooo disappointed once it was put together. I thought the drawers hardly opened on the DISPLAY piece since it was the display piece. Nope, that's the function of the dresser. I really wish that would have been some where on the display piece. I know its here on the description, but I didn't read that since I was in the store. I understand its for safety, but that's why we already agree to mount it to the wall at the time of purchase. Very sad I have to find the time and help to drive it all the way back up there. 2

Drawers gap is only about 6 inches. The drawer does not come out all the way.MattAs always its a solid dresser and well put together. My one major issue is that the drawers only come out about half way. It will work for little kids clothes but adult or teenage clothes will be hard to get in and out as you have about 6 inches to play with getting your clothes out.3

However drawback is the dresser runner is smaller than the drawer itself which makes it difficult to put drawer inside. I hope I can return it. I would not recommend anyone. Furniture tipping over is one of the home furnishing industry's most serious safety issues and we’ll never stop working on innovative stability solutions for our storage furniture. A tip-over accident can happen when you least expect it. It could be someone using a drawer as support to stand up or children climbing to reach something on top. But no one can predict all the scenarios that everyday living at home can create. That’s why the best way to avoid tipping accidents is to always anchor the furniture to the wall. But we also offer new stability solutions that help make our storage furniture safer. One example is our stability feature Anchor and Unlock. "It means that the chest of drawers must be anchored to a wall to be able to open more than one drawer at a time, which reduces the risk of tipping, but doesn’t entirely remove it. By anchoring the chest of drawers to the wall, you unlock the drawers and can open them all at once," says Björn Andreasson from the development team. Another way we increase stability is to integrate it into the design. "With GREÅKER cabinet with drawers, for example, we´ve developed hinges that stop the doors at a 115-degree angle and keep them there to reduce the risk of tipping," says product developer Dagmara Pawlus. IKEA of course meets all safety requirements in our markets, but we don’t just settle for this. We often set higher demands than what legislation requires to help people enjoy a better everyday life – in a safer home.
