Disappointed in the qualityCaitlinWe have 4 other Nordli dressers that have been purchased over the last decade and there is a noticeable difference in the quality of the material and hardware being sold now. The particle board of the drawers is now flimsy and made assembly difficult, especially for the back panel. The base of the unit is only fixed to the upper panels with a plastic peg, it’s a concern if we ever want to move the dressers. Also the quality control is poor, one of the base panels came with a large split along one of the faces, it obviously wasn’t from moving or delivery. The hardware that used to be metal is now flimsy plastic that breaks easily. Overall it is very disappointing.
DissapointedDinaI have purchased and built many Ikea products before. The instructions for this dresser was very confusing and the particle board splits easy. The knob attachments don't fit well when trying to support the other pieces while attaching, causing uneveness overall. I even had two people assembling to try and help this issue with no luck. The drawers of the small side don't align well.
Flimsy drawersCalvinMost of it went well. Drawers are super flimsy and a couple parts disintegrated because they weren’t cut well. I made it work but that’s the drawback I experienced with this furniture.

Gets the job done and looks good but poorly constructed Anonymous reviewerI’m a fan of the look of this dresser and I don’t think it will ever spontaneously dissemble itself but given my expertise in IKEA assembly it leaves much to be desired. Compared to the assembly of other dressers and furniture that IKEA makes this one seems it was engineered in a hurry and stability and longevity of the dresser were afterthoughts. All in all if you can get a solid price on this I’d recommend it as assembly was easy and it’s an attractive dresser but it certainly cuts a few corners when being manufactured and makes me think this won’t last long term. I’m sure that moving this would be a pain as it’s heavy and yet not solidly constructed
Not as sturdy as other ikea dressersStephanieI have two Nordli beds and love them, but this Nordli dresser leaves much to be desired. The main housing is supposed to “lock” into place with small knobs, but the pieces do not stay together well when moving the dresser, which is required for assembly. I have two Malm dressers and two Hemnes dressers that have much sturdier framing. I’d recommend going with those products instead. Another Nordli dresser gripe is the drawers don’t align well, and the overall look is sloppy when the drawers don’t align. Definitely not worth the cost!

Easy to assemble for the most partCesarWas simple to assemble. It would've made things faster if the parts were labeled but still managed to put it together. My only gripe with this is that while all my drawers fit, some of them are tilted at a slight angle, don't know why, I assembled every part with care but it's whatever.
SleekCatIts very functional, i do wish the drawers were flush to the top and bottom instead of having a bit of a lip. Also had some trouble with the location i went requiring a staff member to grab the boxes after you purchased. They gave us the wrong boxes and when called to get it replaced, they gave us the wrong time to grab it, which created some unnecessary frustration. It does show marks really badly so just keep that in mind if you have anything on your hands while opening or closing it.

Good QualitySabrinaI have the Nordli bed, which I bought some time ago. I was hesitant after reading some of these reviews to add this piece to my collection. It came as the exact same quality and the exact amount of vexation that putting the bed together came with. I am now intending to buy more in the Nordli line.
Worst furniture to ever put together.TakiyahI have purchased furniture from IKEA for over 25 years and still have some of the items today. This dresser has been the most difficult one. For the price of this item it is very poor quality. This may be my sign to retire from IKEA furniture completely. I’m not happy at all.

Not the old NordliKarlaWe have purchased Nordli dressers in the past. They were sturdy, we still have them and they still look great. This newer version does not have the high gloss finish on the top and we’re an absolute bear to put together. In the past I was able to put all the dressers together by myself, but the changes in design, parts and method to construct this dresser leaves me wondering why the Nordli pieces needed to be redesigned. If I didn’t live 6 hours away, I probably would have returned it.
OK but not greatStefanieI have several of the older Nordli pieces including 2 dressers and 2 beds and they have been great, quality pieces. This new one is made differently. The assembly is more difficult and not very sturdy. Disappointing.
Nightmare ConstructionNicoleI’ve put together many IKEA items, dressers and large pieces of furniture included, and this was hands down the WORST experience thus far. It seems as though some of the fastening pieces have been changed, which would be great — if they fit seamlessly together. This took about 3x longer than it should have to put together. Another unfortunate note was the presentation once out of the box. The dresser itself is as described, but ours came with a large chip on top, multiple scratches and smudges throughout pieces. If it weren’t for my child’s room, I would be disappointed in this purchase.
